COVID-19 cases are continuing to decrease across most of the country, but the overall level of community transmission in the United States is high. The current 7-day average of daily new cases is 84,555, a 12.5% decrease from the previous 7-day period. Getting vaccinated is the best way to help prevent COVID-19, especially severe illness and death.

If you aren’t vaccinated:
Get vaccinated.
Wear a mask over your nose and mouth.
Stay at least 6 feet from others.
Avoid crowds and poorly ventilated spaces.
Wash your hands often.
Everyone—vaccinated or not—should continue to wear a mask indoors in public areas with a substantial or high level of community transmission. Learn more:
